Almost Daily Devotions
Once I get this site going, these devotions will start popping up a lot more. For now, today's verse is... before we start, I need you all to get your Bible's out and open up to Proverbs chapter 3, verses 11-12. These verses are my personal favs. "My child, don't reject the Lord's discipline, and don't be upset when he corrects you. For the Lord corrects those he loves just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights." This helps me understand why parents ground us. Proverb's 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do,and he will show you which path to take." "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you."
I think that this is God telling us that He is always with us and His grace and love will be with us too.
NO matter how hard life becomes,
Jesus will always be there standing beside us!!
Proverbs 20:3
To me, this verse means that when we keep going back and forth fighting with another person we are just wasting our time. When we walk away from a fight, it doesn't mean we lost, it means we have enough strength to not let the other person push our buttons even further.
Philippians 4:13
So know that if you ever need a little wisdom, that God and Jesus will be there to guide you through and help you make good decisions
Luke 6:27
This verse is a reminder to love all people
Although some may wrong you, be kind to them
This verse comes in handy when you are being bullied
Instead of lashing out at them
Be kind to them
Although this may be hard this is what God wants us to do.
