Happy Independence Day everyone!!! Can you believe that it is the 234th anniversary  (I think that is right...) of the Declaration of Independence??? That day long ago we declared freedom and took the first step to become one nation under God with liberty and justice for all!

Have a safe and fun Fourth of July....

:) and a great week:)
And remember: God is with you!!!

Happy Belated New Years!!!!
I cannot believe that we have already said goodbye to 2009!
The year went by so quick and I am sure that this year will too.
Cherish each day because it will only be January 21 etc. etc., 2010  once.
I pray that this year is filled with love and happiness.

We may go through tough times but with the Lord, our God, standing beside us
Ready to catch us when we fall,
I am sure that this year will be awesome.

I hope that you  have an amazing 2010!!!!!!

So... It is Christmas time again! Gifts have been opened, presents unwrapped... how many of us have really stopped and thanked God for what we have this Christmas? I have stopped and thought a little but not as much as I should have.... I mean seriously Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without the birth of Christ... God sent His Son for us! I think that that is better than any ipod, laptop, or cell phone! God doesn't judge us on whether we are rich or poor but on what is in our heart! I would rather choose Him over any gift any time! So, this Christmas remember what the really meaning is. After all, it is about giving and not getting.

Did you know that everyday is a holiday? I mean seriously everyday is a new day. You can start fresh once again if you screwed up the day before (which we all do). Each day is a day to celebrate life! It may not look like you've come a long way but we seriously have. Think of all the achievements you've accomplished and all the good things that have happened to you. All the people who have changed your life and all the people who you've changed there lives. So when you wake up tomorrow celebrate you, how far you have come, and a new day to show the light and glory of the world to others. After all we are the salt and light of the world ( more on that in whats up this week).

Did you know that Easter isn't about the Easter Bunny? It is actually about Jesus. Easter Sunday was the day he rose again. He died so that we could live and one day meet God in Heaven. God loved us so much that he sent his son to die for us. Spread the word, JESUS HAS RISEN!!
