It should've been me
It should've been us
Should've been there hanging on a cross
All of these scars
Should've been stains that were never
Why do I hide
Why do you try
Over and over and over again
I guess it just leaves saying thank God
It leaves me saying thank God, thank
For the should've been
If I'm so
Why do I easily forget
That you died for all of this
For this heart you changed
This soul you raised
My God for taking my place
The 3step Girls
Well, then check out the 3step Girls. Their style is similar to that of Zoegirl, Britt Nicole, and BarlowGirl. They are not currently on iTunes, Amazon, or YouTube, but they are working on writing some cool new songs!!!! For more info on this trio, go to www.3stepgirls.weebly.com or click on the link (in blue).
How many of you are looking for a new cd to listen to that is upbeat, inspiring, and includes Christian artists singing Christian songs? I know the perfect album for you... head to itunes and buy BarlowGirl's new CD Love and War.
This CD is awesome!! I cannot stop listening to it! It combines Christian songs with a rock/pop type music! I love the song Beautiful Ending which talks about how selfishness can sometimes separate us from God. The song Tears Fall deals with the sadness of abortion hence the line in the song " So many faces the world will never see" and " A reason for your life but your heart will never beat"
I would definitly recommend BarlowGirl because they are an awesome band with beautiful voices!!!
Ok, I know the game below doesn't have much (anything) to do with the site, but I find it a very fun game so try it out. In one level, you even get to create your own dessert!
How many of you are looking for some great Christian singers? I have three AWESOME options of Christian music that you may enjoy. The first is BarlowGirl. BarlowGirl are three Christian sisters. Barlow Girl are a Christian Rock type of music. The second is Zoegirl. Zoegirl is more pop than rock, but is still awesome. The last is Steven Curtis Chapman. Natalie Grant, Rebecca St. James, and Brian Littrell
First up is Natalie Grant... I love her songs... I can relate to pretty much all of her songs because of all the feelings and thoughts that her songs can share.
Next is Rebecca St. James. Her song "Alive" has a great beat and is very uplifting.
Lastly is Brian Littrell. This former Backstreet boy has very inspiring and catchy tunes. The song "Welcome Home" is one of my favorites by Brian Littrell.
Did you know?
How many of you have read C.S. Lewis's series of books, "The Chronicles of Narnia" ? Now, how many of you know WHO Aslan stands for, and what the book is really about? Aslan is Jesus. In the book "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" , remember when Aslan made a deal with the White Witch? The promise that Aslan would be killed, so that Edmund could live? Aslan, like Jesus, did nothing to deserve being killed, yet it was Edmund who was the sinner. We are like Edmund, sinners. But Jesus, has died so that one day we can be with God. So, go pick up one of C.S. Lewis's books, see if you can spot pieces of life on Earth in them, see if you can understand how Aslan and Jesus are alike.
Have you seen this?
How many of you have seen Dadnapped on Disney channel? Remember when Melissa (Emily Osment) was kidnapped? Remember how she told Tripp Zoome she couldn't have "escaped" without his"help"? Boy was she wrong!! We cannot do anything without God, He is the one who gives us strength and courage. He keeps us safe from harm. We are the sheep, He is the shepard. We are His children. " I can do all things through Christ who strenghens me." is a verse that explains that. God gives us the power to do and be anything we want to be.
